With the news that one of the winners from season 2 of “The Glee Project” will have an arc of their own on season 4 of “Glee,” there is one question that must inevitably be asked — now that their arcs are said and done, will any of the season 1 alumni from the Oxygen reality show be back? On paper, it seems as though Samuel Larsen’s Joe and Damian McGinty’s Rory would still be students at McKinley High, at least so long as they did not go back to being home-schooled or to Ireland. In addition to that, both Harmony (Lindsay Pearce) and Wade / Unique (Alex Newell) are each still part of the show’s universe, and could turn up again if called upon in the future.
At the moment, co-creator Ryan Murphy is committing to at least one of the show’s actors coming back for another go — but is not saying who that person is. At a TV Academy event this week (one that also saw the performance below), Murphy told attendees that “some of them” would be back again for parts in season 4. Considering that McGinty, Larsen, and Newell all performed during the panel, we have to believe that these three are at least in the running. (Pretty much everyone involved in the show has already said they would love to be back so long as they are wanted.)
Even though the “Glee” cast keeps ballooning larger and larger, do you want to see the contestants from the first “Glee Project” back again in some shape or form?
