Was the Miss USA pageant really staged with the potential top five already in mind? This story has quickly become one of the biggest hot topics of all the entertainment world in the past week, but now the story regarding former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin is exploding to catastrophic levels.
In case you missed it on “The Today Show” Friday morning, Monnin came on to say that she was told by another participant in the competition (Miss Florida Karina Brez) that she saw a list of five women who turned out to be the top five later in the evening. While Brez has since denied ever seeing anything of the sort, Monnin claims that it is far too much of a coincidence that the names on this list were the top five, and she has since resigned from her Miss Pennsylvania title and is vowing to reveal the truth behind the organization.
Unfortunately for Monnin, this is going to be a rather bumpy road. Trump has already filed a defamation suit against her for a significant amount of money, and she is also going to have a hard time proving any part of her story without another witness coming forward. Expect this to be an interesting few months — and a potentially damaging one for the members of the Miss Universe organization.
By the time the dust settles here, do you think Trump’s organization is ever going to be the same?
