The longer they make us wait, the less optimistic I am about its return. I guess there are a lot of things they need to discuss before they bring it back. How many episodes for season 2, what time slot it will be in, whether it will have a lead in show in show or not all need to be worked out.

The ratings are always fake!
It is just up to what network/studios managers want to do. And most if not all of them are just like Volkswagen managers.
The ratings are tampered with. Fake numbers. Fake stats.

It is an absolute shame that these shameful managers keep faking data, faking accounting, firing employees that create wonderful products and replace them with sloppy employees that can only release lame cheap products.

This show is almost top-notch in its genre. A real business man would just keep producing it for 5-6 years at least and advertise it worldwide. Period.

But these managers are no real business men. They are liars and thieves just like the Volkswagen ones.

These managers keep claiming that practically all products are a financial failure and they cancel the ones that require more money to make due to high production value and overall product quality.
They lie and they cheat. These managers need to be fired. The whole business became a huge mess and it is full of excellent tv shows that these managers cancel to steal money and do their dirty business inside the groups. If only the justice system wasn’t as much corrupted as these managers then they would have been put in jail a long time ago.

In reply to Debye Barnes. Well, I designate you as the person to argue it out with AMC to keep it in the 10 pm time slot after The Walking Dead. Matt Carter wrote me in a previous article that AMC really DOESN'T want it in the 10 pm slot after The Walking Dead. I don't have a problem with it in that slot either. That makes 2 of US. Unfortunately, it isn't our call.

In reply to Michael Goldman. It would be truly disappointing if Into The Badlands was not renewed. For those of us not following the zombie apocalypse, it has made for a refreshing change on a Sunday evening. With creative writing, exquisitely choreographed martial arts, and visually appealing sets, Into The Badlands has been able to overcome what seems to be the latest in television programming trends. And personally, I like the time slot.

What a shame it would be if the show isn’t renewed. As I stated after an earlier article, we all know that AMC loves running the previous weeks Walking Dead episode at 8 pm, the New Episode at 9 pm and Talking Dead at 10 pm. Inserting Into The Badlands into the 10 pm spot and moving Talking Dead to 11 pm isn’t what they really want to do. However, if Into The Badlands needs help, perhaps putting it on after FEAR THE WALKING DEAD is the thing to do. Sometimes a new show really does need help in its first 2-3 seasons before it catches on. CBS left NCIS:LA in the 9 pm position, right after NCIS, for FIVE SEASONS before moving it to Mondays at 10 pm. If INTO THE BADLANDS is cancelled, a 2 hour movie to wrap it should be a priority for this summer, AMC.
