After binging the series in less than a week, I don't have the frustration of those avid watchers who had to wait 2 years to get the latest episodes. I feel Season 4 left more 'open' for furthering the story than when Season 3 ended on the bridge. That would have satisfied me more. Whether Alice is truly dead, we may never know, or perhaps it will be two more years before we see Luther again. With her popularity on The Affair and Elba's international stardom, it might be time constraints between Ruth Wilson and him that keeps us from getting any more of the story. I'm willing to wait.
