I think what labels are most hungry for at this point is someone who is more of a self-starter, who got their fans as a result of either going viral or their own actions. versus a singing show. Since fame is so fleeting I believe they view it as less of an incentive to invest in a singing-show star.]]></description>

What do the record labels have to say from their perspective? I&#039;d like to read an interview with a record label person who finds the artists, who they think can make it. How do they go about it?
