This was a 'good' but not 'great' series. Maybe it should have been called something other than Fargo to lower our expectations. I never saw people stand up and applaud at the end of a series at they did at the end of Fargo's season one. Nobody in my house applauded as the credits rolled at the end of season two. In season one, evil was concentrated in the person of Billy Bob's character. When he appeared on the screen you held your breath. In season two, there was so much violence from every character and the war theme was pervasive it was devalued as a plot factor. Too bad because the acting was top notch.
