We are having another judging change on “The X Factor” this season — but unlike what happened with Britney Spears and Demi Lovato being brought on board as permanent judges, this is only a temporary change.
With Simon Cowell reportedly under the weather with bronchitis, the show’s head judge and executive producer is going to remain back in Los Angeles recuperating. With that in mind, he has brought in Louis Walsh from the British version of the show to take his place for the next two days. For fans who have not heard of him previously, Walsh is an Irish manager who has overseen such acts as Westlife and Jedward; although he once helped popular boy band JLS finish in second place on the show, his act has only won “X Factor” once in his nine seasons on the show.
This audition show marks one of Walsh’s first attempts at making a foray into America as a television personality. Even though it is temporary, let’s hope that it goes better than what we saw from Cheryl Cole after she was initially made into a judge last season.
Do you think Louis will do a good job as a judge in America, or do you even know who he is?
