The first 5 seasons of the show are arguably the best (with season 5 being the best TV season ever). Season 6 was rocky. The show lost its way in the middle of the season but recovered slightly towards the final three/four episodes.
Season 7 has been somewhat better, as Alicia is back in the courtroom where she belongs. Luca is a great addition to the cast/show and the same for Jason. Lockhart/Agos/Lee (or what ever it is called now) seems to be in a world of its own. Alicia needs to head back there, bring everything back together again. And with the mass walk out at the firm, I hope this means that Alicia might be asked back to the firm (along with Luca). Season 7 has been slightly rocky so far but the show is still really good. I am hoping that the Eli revelation will shake the show up a bit and bring it back to The Good Wife of earlier seasons.
