Justin Bieber performs on ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ finale (video)

Justin was on the German version.

Just how popular is the “America’s Next Top Model” brand overseas? Let’s just say that they managed to book Justin Bieber to perform on their finale episode.

From a travel standpoint, the gig currently seems to make some sense. Justin has been traveling around Europe as of late for his upcoming “All Around the World” concert special on NBC, and he has amassed as large of a fanbase in Germany as he has just about everywhere else in the world.

The irony here is that there is no way that the American version of “Top Model” would have this sort of massive event for its live finale, or feature performances from someone with Bieber’s massive fanbase — mostly because they are taped long in advance, there’s no real context for it to happen and the ratings in the US have been steadily dropping over the years – hence the major overhaul of some of the major players for cycle 19.

With that being said, we’re pretty grateful to Germany for allowing this fun performance to happen. What do you think of Bieber performing on a show about modelling?  Do you feel that the American version should adopt some of these tactics for their finale?
