Last season was all Gibbs and McGee and this season seems to be all Gibbs and Bishop. Wonder why they don’t give Tony any juicy stories anymore. He’s about as insignificant a character as Palmer now. It’s a shame and a loss to the show which has become predictable, soapish, and dull. Michael Weatherly is such a compelling actor but they usually just write him as either completely insignificant to the case or as the evening’s joke. They’ve checked Abby’s one and done off the list and now Ducky is getting his. I guess we’ll get the obligatory Tony humiliation episode when Senior blows into town but the actors who get dramatic focus and arcs now are McGee, Bishop, and the never ending focus on Gibbs awesomeness, angst, drama, and woe.
