Comic-Con 2012: ‘Fringe,’ ‘Vampire Diaries,’ and ‘Supernatural’ to be present

"Fringe" will be there.

We’re just over a month until one of the biggest entertainment events of the entire year, and with that in mind we are starting to find out just which shows are going to be stopping by Comic-Con in San Diego for a panel discussion from July 11-15.

While there are many more announcements to come, Warner Bros. TV revealed Thursday that the following programs will all be present. (These details are subject to change.)

Thursday, July 12

• MAD (Cartoon Network): Show producers Kevin Shinick and Mark Marek will be present. Room 6DE

• Nikita (The CW): Maggie Q, Shane West, Lyndsy Fonseca, executive producer Craig Silverstein. Room 6BCF

Friday, July 13

• The Big Bang Theory (CBS): The cast who will be in attendance has yet to be announced, but the show will be moving to the enormous Hall H for the discussion. Hall H

• Cult (The CW): This new show’s panel will feature Matt Davis, Jessica Lucas, Alona Tal and Robert Knepper along with executive producer Rockne S. O’Bannon. Room 6BCF

• 666 Park Avenue (ABC): Another new show, the “666” panel will feature “Lost” veteran Terry O’Quinn along with Rachael Taylor, Dave Annable, and executive producers David Wilcox and Matthew Miller. Room 6BCF

• Arrow (The CW): Star Stephen Amell will be in attendance, and The CW will also screen the pilot. Ballroom 20

• Childrens Hospital (Adult Swim): If you want to laugh, this is the place to be — even if it is at an unusual location. Rob Corddry and executive producer Jonathan Stern will be there alongside Lake Bell, Erinn Hayes, Rob Huebel, Megan Mullally, Henry Winkler and Ken Marino. Hilton San Diego Bayfront, Indigo Ballroom

Saturday, July 14

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): The people who are confirmed include Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley alongside executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. Ballroom 20

• The Following: Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega will preside over this panel, as will the new series’ stars in Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy. Room 6BCF

Person of Interest (CBS): Currently, this is the most mysterious panel in that no one is confirmed. Jonathan Nolan may be too busy with “The Dark Knight Rises” to process anything else.. Room 6BCF

• Revolution (NBC): Billy Burke, Giancarlo Esposito and Tracy Spiridakos will be there for this new series alongside creator/executive producer Eric Kripke and director/co-executive producer Jon Favreau — an Comic-Con staple at this point. Room 6BCF

Sunday, July 15

• Supernatural (The CW): Misha Collins will be here! Of course, so will Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and some guest stars in Jim Beaver and Mark A. Sheppard. New showrunner Jeremy Carver will also be present. Hall H

• Fringe (Fox): For its final season, “Fringe” is moving to the convention center’s biggest room. Series stars Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, Lance Reddick, Blair Brown, Jasika Nicole and John Noble will be there alongside the executive producers. Hall H
