2012 TCA Awards nominations: ‘Homeland,’ ‘Game of Thrones’ lead

Peter Dinklage is a favorite again.

Not long after the nominations were announced for the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, we also now have news coming in pertaining to another big TV awards show this summer — the 2012 Television Critics Association Awards.

When it comes to major snubs here, the fact that “Smash” made it over “Once Upon a Time” or “Veep” is simply appalling. We really can’t much issue with most of the other choices, though we do find it interesting that “Downton Abbey” is classified as a miniseries here even though it is submitting as a drama series for the Emmys. (These nominations will be announced next month.)

What do you think about some of these choices?
