Ratings: ‘MasterChef’ returns up; ‘America’s Got Talent’ wins

A big win for Ramsay.

For Monday night’s TV lineup, Gordon Ramsay reigned supreme — at least when it comes to Fox winning the night in the 18-49 demographic. As a matter of fact, Fox ironically fared better with this lineup that they did for most of the fall or the spring at this time of the week.

Fox – “Hell’s Kitchen” started things off with a 2.4 rating that was down only slightly from last season’s premiere; however, the return of “MasterChef” at 9:00 p.m. scored a 2.3 — up half a point from where it was at this time last season. Can we say that these amateur cooks are finally breaking out?

NBC – With “America’s Got Talent,” the Peacock had themselves a rather great night — the show had the top hour on the night with a 3.2 rating and over 12 million viewers. “American Ninja Warrior” then followed it up with a 2.2 that NBC has to be rather pleased with — especially considering the show’s budget.

ABC – The only other network with new programming, the Alphabet went with two hours of “The Bachelorette” that improved following last week’s poor Memorial Day showing.

What did you end up watching Monday?
