The most interesting point going forward is that the characters except for Martha are completely unlike able. The so called murderers are more sympathetic. I keep hoping that Bracken will return and finally dispose of Kate. Then Castle might return to himself, get a new muse and move on.

H&W hate the idea of a good relationship in this show. I don’t believe a word they say and consider them to be terrible showrunners and writers. The entire story arc they’ve created has huge plot holes in it and they have done nothing to move it forward on top of that. And as Ira points out there has been nothing about how their friends and family are reacting to this except that apparently everyone believes Kate’s story without question. She left her husband after less than a year. In the real world that means that a relationship is falling apart, not that they are still in love. Yet not one of the characters in the show realize this. There is no marriage in this show any longer except for Ryan and Jenny.

It seems like the two writers are the only ones enjoying their story and keeps asking us to follow their thread. I for one has lost interest since the end of season 7. Season 8 has been a loser but I will admit episode 7 was fun to watch. Wondering how many fans will return after the fall break? The finale had better be redeeming.

“Stay true to the obstacle” what obstacle? If it were me there would be no obstacle big or strong enough to keep me from getting together. I would start by calling her at work and see if she will meet me at some secret or favorite place known only to us. Failing in that I would meet her invited or not at the 12th where we would be safe and keep trying until I succeeded.

They AH and TPW keep talking about love. 99% of the Castle random never doubted that they were still in love. The question was not for Castle to win Beckett back, but to find out why she left in the first place. IMO Beckett could have stayed with Castle and investigated on the side, easier that way to keep him out of her way. Now he is hell bent on following her and find out what is going on.

Btw, why hasn’t Lane talked to Beckett about this separation. And by this time, I would have thought Jim Beckett would have a conversation with his daughter. Finally, Alexis should be talking to Beckett. Even though she told her father to give Beckett some time, ENOUGH ALREADY!!
