As if there was any question as to whether or not Walter White was going to be taking an even darker turn during the fifth season of “Breaking Bad,” the new promotional poster for AMC pretty much confirms it.
The poster is really pretty simple — Walter sitting down in front of massive piles of cash and ‘the blue’ ready to take down pretty much anyone that steps into his way. With the dark turn that Walter took last season when we were left to discover that he, not Gus, was the one that fed Jessie’s girlfriend’s young son the Lily of the Valley berries, Bryan Cranston’s character became the very thing he has been fighting for most of the past four seasons — and now, it is going to becoming a question of survival for him. We’re really not sure how Walter is ever going to make it out of this alive — but with only 16 episodes left for the series, it’s sure to be a pretty wild journey the rest of the way (even without the brilliant talents of Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus).
The first half of the show’s final run will begin airing July 15 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern — following that, the show will air the remaining eight episodes in 2013.
Does this poster make you even more excited for what is going to be coming up?
