If you are still as crushed as we are about the end of “The Secret Circle,” then you may find the following story of interest. While it is not the equivalent of the show getting renewed for another season, isn’t it something to at least smile at?
In a new interview with IGN, Kevin Williamson suggested that a certain actress from the series in Phoebe Tonkin could have a role on one of the other shows he executive-produces in “The Vampire Diaries” — at least if he has his way and Phoebe is not snatched up before he has a chance:
“[Showrunner] Andrew [Miller] ran with it – that was always his show. I just helped him get it off the ground. But I loved the cast. I love Phoebe [Tonkin]. I love her. I want her on Vampire Diaries. I ought to write her in.”
Unfortunately, Williamson also had some rather bad news for those hoping that ABC Family, MTV, or another network could potentially pick it up — he said that “the show is gone,” and thanked the fans for all of their love and dedication. (That isn’t stopping a few last-ditch efforts, and we’ll have more on those soon.)
Tell us — if the “Circle” doesn’t return, would it be any consolation at all to see Phoebe join Elena, Damon, and Stefan in Mystic Falls?
