I agree again it is also possible that they Still won’t reunite . The writers are hoping that their story line brings fans back in sothey can have a season 9. Wrong thought process by the writers all they did was piss fans off .

I think that if Hawley and Winter thought that there might be a season 9 that they wouldn’t have Beckett and Castle reunite at all.

George, I agree. What I wonder about also is what about the future of Winter and Hawley. I do not know anything about their past so I will just assume that this is the first time either has been a show runner. Assuming this then you would think that they would want this to be an outstanding success. Especially when ABC is on record saying that they want the series to run for several more seasons. I know that if I were them I would make the fans a very big part of the show. I would make note of what the fans like and dislike. I would watch the ratings very carefully to see if the current story line is popular and if not adjust it. I would watch the use of “fun” episodes to make sure that they are indeed funny (most are not and are merely a waste of air time). I do not believe in following a really serious episode with a “fun” episode unless the last few minutes of the serious episode really leads you into the fun episode. To do otherwise the serious episode still casts a gloom and doom atmosphere over the fun episode and makes it less effective. Having said all of this what do I know about running a show? Absolutely nothing but having watched any number of politicians at work I do know that if you want to be successful be careful of the promises you make and give the public what they want.

Jim,I certainly agree ,they do like them separated .They have tried to take it back to season 4 or so,myself if I wanted that I watch the season 4 reruns. They have reduced themselves to fart jokes etc.More promises from the writers we will enjoy the ride . Not me or quite a bit of the fan base are bailing fast Isee. Only the supposed die hards I hope the writers don’t crush that fan base also.

I do not think these two show runners every study there fan base at all. It is brave to make a bold move, but it is braver to fix it when it does not work. The show runner Hawley has only one thing on her mind, the devastating split. It only took her two episodes to screw up seven years of work. When the only thing you can talk about in a episode is a fart she has really taken the show down. TV line stated at 11 pm after episode 2 have you deactivated your twitter account yet? Alexi Hawley (after both laugh) here’s what we are hoping,that the audience sticks around long enough to see the next week and realize that this only the beginning. That is not working out to good for you, some of the lowest ratings ever. Winter asked the people to give them a chance, we did and the show been reduced to a fart. It is time to bring Rick and Kate back together as one. It looks like last nights rerun show did better than THE NOSE in ratings. The both of you really do not know you fans. The next show you two get to be show runners on you might want to check out what your fans want. For know you might want to look at all the other comments about how you are doing not just the ones on twitter. But if you really want you do have time to fix this before the hiatus. I’m sure going the miss all those good holiday shows, they were some of the best.
