It hasn’t been up to par since Asylum. Asylum struck such incredibly deep, complicated, poignant notes with this incredible tension that had you in genuine fear from week to week. Argue and bitch about it all you like but it got a whopping 17 NOMINATIONS at the Emmys and blew critics away. Then what does Ryan Murphy do? He sabotages his own project right after by making it all about camp and cattiness, completely style over substance. This is an all-time low because nobody represents style over substance more than Gaga, it is a crying shame.

I am Terry’s wife. I worked in a crisis center for 15 years and also volunteered at one. I cannot watch the show. The rapes, it is like a snuff film. This show has triggered so many rape and incest survivors that they are no longer watching. The first show of Hotel was so triggering, I never watched it again.

I can’t get into AHS this season. It’s not creepy or spooky, just gory. Instead of horror it’s like a low-budget slasher movie; they seem to be throwing in more blood and naked bodies in an attempt to make up for the bad writing. The characters have no depth or personality this season. Hopefully, next season Gaga will be gone, and they’ll go back to an emphasis on writing. Watching Gaga is like watching a cardboard cutout. Other than her one-dimensional performance, it’s not the actors, but the sub-par material they’ve been given to work with. I’m still watching, but don’t know how long I’ll stick it out.

She can act. Of course you can’t compare her to Lange, don’t be a fool.
Hope you will watch episode 3 again, and analyze her acting. It is pretty good actually.

She did not rip off Madonna. Madonna rip offs so many artists before her. GRACE JONES, BLONDIE and guess what, many of her millinial music sample so many old musics!!! Originals…..yeah right.

Episode 4 is called Devil’s night. Hope you will be watching. I know you will be hosting a party at your house and play MONSTER in the background. That is one powerful GAGA tracks.

Yeah, funny not a mention of the overly “gay” aspect of the series this season. Gee, could it be that too as well as an untrained “actress” like GaGa? Let’s be frank, it’s tanking because of the sexuality, GaGa and poor overall writing. Whoever green lit this should be fired and back to making commercials for Toys”r”Us.

#gagacurse. Look at any other thing she has ‘acted’ in. Muppets thanksgiving. Machete kills. All tanked. On top of that there is an entire community of gay men over the age of 30 who despise her for ripping off their idol and refuse to participate in anything Gaga. Murphy made a blunder hiring her. We need Jessica Lange back.

One thing I would like to point out is that this show is not shown at “prime time” . Where I live, it is shown at 11 pm!! Most people watch shows that are around 7 – 9 slot. So I think that’s why the rating is fairly low.

But it does not matter to me. I like the third episode. Of course the plots are scattered but for a good reason. Other shows, you have the characters “linked” so much that to me it is the norm of many tv shows. It is kind of boring. Walking dead got many followers, good for them but seeing those zombies make me laugh, not spook me at all. Empire is popular because it is “drama”, a formula most shows are using. Boring, I want something edgy, something different.

LADY GAGA can definitely act. She is au natural. She is not a prop. In episode 3, she has more “dialogue”. If you are not familiar with AHS, each character does not “dominate” the show. That’s why someone called it “scatter”.
I love the shows so far an looking forward to next episode and MORE!!!!
