‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 4 preview: A compromising situation for Diane

Good Wife -Legal warfare was scattered all over Sunday night’s new episode of “The Good Wife,” and most of it did not land in Alicia Florrick’s favor. Eli ruined a chance that she could escape from a case with an FBI agent working undercover, while a segment at a cooking show with her mother almost went up in flames. Bond court is tremendously exciting, but she is also learning that it is very much unpredictable.

The next new episode is entitled “Taxed,” and you can see the synopsis all about what to expect below:

“Alicia clashes with the bond court judge when she agrees to support a client’s plea of innocence in a shoplifting case. Also, Diane is coerced by her client’s counsel, Ethan Carver (Peter Gallagher), to argue against her own beliefs in a case about physician assisted suicide.”

This looks like it will be a great episode for Christine Baranski, which excited us for the most part because we don’t really think that this past episode gave her a chance to do too much other than act upset over Alicia talking with Howard … even if that case is really not going to result in much of anything when the dust settles. She has to figure out how to work through some new dynamics with Alicia, while all of the characters continue to look ahead and plan for what their future could be.

Also, there is still Peter’s election. While that is not mentioned in the synopsis, it’s something that you still should be very much aware of moving forward into this season.
