‘Louie’ season 3 spoilers: Is Jerry Seinfeld making appearance?

Season 3 premieres this summer.

Has Louis C.K. managed to land another big name for “Louie” this season? If we are to believe Chris Rock, it certainly seems like it.

During an interview with Hollywood.com to promote the newest entry in the “Madagascar” franchise, Rock basically revealed via a phone call via his good friend Jerry Seinfeld that the sitcom legend was on the set of the critically-acclaimed FX series. However, no further details about what he was doing there were handed out.

If this news turns out to be true (and Seinfeld was not just paying production a visit for the fun of it), Seinfeld will be joining an incredibly long line of comedians who have spotted by “Louie” at some point — including Joan Rivers, Dane Cook, and Ricky Gervais.

Season 3 is currently set to launch on Thursday, June 28 (the same night that FX is premiering Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management”) at 10:30 p.m. Eastern time. Once we have some more details about Seinfeld’s supposed appearances, we will have more for you here.

So long as this turns out to be true, are you happy to see two great comedians coming together for a show of this quality?
