I love this show, and if he fall in love with a new woman ok, and if she continues loving to her exboyfriend OK, too. they are great characters who are searching and deserving their happiness, but, have them as a couple would be the best, but if this thing has to happen better do not wait until the 2025 because the show could cancell before, just take a look how many shows are cancelled this same year.

YES YES to all of this except for… Torchwood? Platonic? Any two characters whose relationship is developed at ALL end up in lust and/or in love.

Meanwhile if you want a platonic partnership I’d recommend one of the many male lead shows (who “refreshingly” stops at some mild queerbaiting) or you can try Elementary, Law & Order: SVU, Continuum, Perception, (the tragically shortlived) The Middleman, In Plain Sight, Killjoys, or Torchwood, and there’s probably more as well. (Interestingly half of the aforementioned shows include a POC in the main partnership. Imagine that.)
