‘Pretty Little Liars’ spoilers: Spencer, Aria face new challenges

We're looking beyond the premiere.

As we continue our road to the season premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” Tuesday night, we are actually going to be looking forward to what you can expect to see from the June 19 episode “Kingdom of the Blind” — and two of the show’s long-suspected villains in Jenna and Garrett are each going to play a key role.

ABC Family has already released the following synopsis about this installment — though be warned it contains minor spoilers:

With Spencer’s mom now taking Garrett on as a client, Spencer is sure that there is a reason forcing her mother to take on the case. But when she starts questioning, she doesn’t so much learn why her mother took the case as stumble upon a larger Hastings secret. Emily also gets some surprising news about her English exam and fears what those consequences could hold.

“Meanwhile, Aria agrees to be Jenna’s accompanist in order to keep tabs on her, and Hanna tries to reach out to Lucas.”

The worst news in this synopsis seems to be for Spencer — mostly because her parents never really seem to understand what is going on in her life. Plus, why do the Hastings have so many secrets — and can Spencer really discover anything as bad as what she has already learned about with Jason?

All in all, it really looks like season 3 of “PLL” is going to hit the ground running when it comes to mystery, and despite Mona (a.k.a. “A”) being locked up some of the usual suspects are still going to be under close watch.
