Hello if you read the spoilers it says that Riley convinced her self that she likes him as a brother this IS a bad example for kids it’s clear that Riley is in love with Lucas

If you had paid attention to the previous episodes you would have already realized that Riley does not have that kind of love for Lucas. As seen in girl meets semi formal and girl meets yearbook it is perceived that riley only loves lucas now as a brother. Maya was the one who started off with lucas playfully in girl meets boy. Feelings change between people but if you want to raise your daughter to believe only what you believe in then more power to you but in the sense of make believe which this show is not real then you wouldve already known that they already broke up and never got back together so Lucas is free to love maya as maya is free to love lucas. Personally i think trying to force love between two people that have tried already just so they stay together for morality is more damaging than letting people’s hearts work themselves out.
