In a new post on her Twitter account, the actress (who you may know better for her part as Rachel Berry) announced that she had scored an honor both for her work and her status as a red carpet icon:
“Just won the GLAMOUR 2012 Women of the Year TV Actress award!! Such an honor!”
Ever since first emerging on a fashion scene, she is often one of the most-coveted names at any premiere or awards show — of course, this has also caused her to have a fair share of detractors (see Sarah Hyland’s critique of her posing). However, Lea has more awards at this point than any of them.
While you still have several months to wait until season 4 of “Glee” premieres, the good news is that you can see Lea again on the season premiere of “The Glee Project” June 5 on Oxygen.
Are you happy that Lea took home this award?
