No, we don’t. We don’t need any more of it. All it’s doing is stirring the racial pot to see what spills out. And they’re doing it by exploiting the lowest common denominator, the blacks as the eternal victims narrative. And we’ve all seen how counter productive that narrative is in attempting to get people to talk about the problems and find solutions. It’ just ends up in rioting, looting, arson and shootings. Nothing good has come of it nor will ever come of it.

Actually yes, we do need it. People need to start seeing how the other side lives and get out from under the rocks they live in and into the real world. We don’t live in a utopia, we don’t live in a fairytale land. This is the real world with real problems. These are issues that need to be addressed, not brushed under the rug. How are you ever going to resolve something if you never talk about it or look for solutions?

Nope. We don’t need anymore of this kind of nonsense. All it’s doing is stirring the racial pot to see what spills out. And as for changing minds? Isn’t going to happen. Not now or ever.

Maybe this is just what we need right now. Because it didn’t seem to me like most people care about the people who die who are unarmed and mistakenly killed. To me it seemed like most people think it’s just some normal everyday occurrence. Maybe this will help more people understand what is happening and start to care, and do the right thing.

This is a hard story to say a whole lot more about right now, since this is going to be all about context and how the writers choose to depict certain events.

You know exactly how they are going to treat the whole subject. The unarmed black will be portrayed as the “poor black victim” and law enforcement as the white racist pigs that murdered him but the racist pigs detectives will get away with it because the majority white grand jury will refuse to indict them leading riots, looting and arson. Fade to Black. Roll End Credits.

We definite [sic] applaud them for having the courage to take this subject matter on, and we hope that they do an adequate job of showing all sides.

They won’t do anything close to an “adequate job” of portraying both sides. They’ll simply go for the lowest common denominator (ie. the black victim narrative) in a sick, sad attempt to try and seem relevant. And of course, hopefully garner higher ratings. That is all.
