With the season 2 premiere of “The Glee Project” only six days away, we’re now starting to find out a few more details about the show this time around — at least when it comes to celebrity mentors.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, and season 1 co-champion Samuel Larsen are all going to be taking part in the reality competition in the weeks that follow the June 5 premiere. (Lea Michele is set to be the first mentor of the season in what we like to call “starting the show with a bang”).
If you haven’t seen the group’s first performance of “The Edge of Glory,” you can do so below. There’s a pretty eclectic group taking part in the season — from stage veterans to inexperienced singers — and at least one person is going to end up winning a multi-episode arc on “Glee” that could turn into something more. (After all, remember that Damian McGinty was in over half of season 3.)
What mentor are you most excited to see on the show?
