NBC’s ‘Grimm’ spoilers: ‘True Blood’ alum signs on for recurring role

Bon Temps is the perfect platform.

James Frain has now officially managed to find success across a number of supernatural shows.

After first making a name for himself as the incredibly-creepy, Tara-loving vampire Franklin on “True Blood” back in season 3, Zap2It is reporting that Frain will have a major recurring role on the second season “Grimm” — where he will play the brother of Sasha Roiz’s┬áCaptain Sean Renard.

While “True Blood” is currently getting set to launch its much-anticipated fifth season on June 10, “Grimm” just started up production on season 2, which is being done earlier than most shows so that NBC can try to capitalize on having the 2012 Olympic Summer Games as a perfect lead-in to some of their new programming.
