‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ review: The strangest of them all

More odd things.

There was a great deal of unusual behavior on Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” and there was really one theme present throughout — some people really don’t enjoy being in Costa Rica as much as they should.

In particular, this episode largely revolved around the various panic attacks of Alexis Bellino and Vicki Gunvalson, who each had some for a variety of reasons. They debated on finer details, talked about jewelry, and even put on some sort of bizarre show as to how much they cared for their children and missed them while they were away. Vicki reminds us yet again about her daughter Briana getting married, which is some sort of justification for what is going on.

When it comes to Alexis, though, the drama didn’t start there this time. She had a pretty rough time with the zip-line courtesy of her recent plastic surgery, and Heather Dubrow was largely left picking up the pieces of a woman who appeared to be absolutely terrified. In the end, though, this even paled in comparison to being referred to as “materialistic” and “pretentious” by some of the other women, and as expect this doesn’t go over very well.

Travel episodes of these shows are always entertaining, and this week’s “Orange County” was no exception — with that being said, though, we do admit to pretty much having no idea if any actual progress was made over the course of the hour. Tamra and Alexis are still feuding, and despite Gretchen Rossi’s attempts to get along with everyone, it’s not working as well as she would like.

What did you think about this epsiode?
