NBC can’t let SVU continually get crushed by EMPIRE and also lose out to Criminal Minds, which it did a lot last season. We won’t even discuss Modern Family. Mysteries of Laura doesn’t help SVU at all. Will SVU become like The Good Wife on CBS; A show with decent ratings but gets obliterated by The Walking Dead when they go head to head on new episodes? Does NBC have a problem if that happens? With Warren Leight(the show runner) leaving at the end of the season, Mariska looking for $500,000 an episode for a season 18, Other people in the show looking for raises? Is NBC willing to leave SVU where it is and bring it back? can they afford not to bring it back? it’s a lot to think about. Maybe NBC needs to try doing some of that(THINKING, THAT IS).
