HBO to feature Miami Dolphins for ‘Hard Knocks’

Ready for some "knocks"?

For those of you who like to mix drama with your sports programming, we have some good news coming your way.

In a press release on Tuesday, HBO announced that they would be featuring the Miami Dolphins for their next edition of “Hard Knocks” — the training camp docuseries that will air every week beginning on August 7.

While the Dolphins may not be the flashiest team out there for the show, they are intriguing in that they have a new coach in Joe Philbin, an owner in Stephen Ross who wants the team to have a bit of a higher profile, and an intriguing battle for the starting quarterback job that includes incumbent Matt Moore, free agent David Garrard, and drafted star Ryan Tannehill. If you’ve read ESPN at any point in the last decade, then you already know that there is always some good drama when it comes to who lands the job — though it may take several weeks to find out an answer.

Some past teams who have signed on to do the show include the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys. (Be sure to check out one of our series highlights below courtesy of one Rex Ryan — with a warning for language.)
