This weekend brought us something rather rare courtesy of the Memorial Day holiday — a double-dose of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians“! Who wants some drama? Within the span of an hour, the episode brought plenty.
What was particularly interesting here was that really for the second straight episode, most of the drama was centered around Kris Jenner — though this time around, it involved her business schedule starting to completely take over just about every facet of her life. Not only was Bruce feeling neglected, so was Rob — who desperately wanted her help so bad in choosing a house that he ended up inadvertently slamming Bruce (who was offering his support) in the process by saying that he really didn’t want his help.
From here, most of the episode really then became about damage control for Rob. He did come up with an effective way to say “sorry” — even if he was forced into watching a number of home movies beforehand. The two are on good terms once again, and all is right in the Kardashian world.
Away from Rob’s story, this episode really didn’t feel as stuffed with content as some of the other early installments this season. The only other major highlight? Kim trying to convince herself that she was a character in a James Bond movie as a way to allow herself to have fun in the midst of her post-divorce depression. (Later on this season, she will have plenty of fun courtesy of Mr. Kanye West — who makes at least a few appearances even if it is not in a prominent role.)
What did you think about this episode, and how bad did you feel at times here for Bruce?
