I really miss competent dedicated heroic Tony but unfortunately tptb prefer scape goat idiot Tony. I realize that the writers are attempting to convince us that McGee is THE replacement for Tony as the new second in command, but Gibbs and McGee scenes are a little like watching paint dry. I have this feeling that this will be Weatherly’s last season. The writers don’t even pretend to like DiNozzo anymore and I have a feeling they’re really going to paint him as the weak link this season, even more than in the past two seasons, in order to justify getting rid of him. I guess if you’re a Harmon or Murray fan things are awesome in the NCIS universe but it really sucks to be a Tony fan.
