While there were a pair of stunning eliminations on “The Voice” UK Sunday night, the one that really had people talking was the exit of Jaz Ellington — in particular due to Tyler James having one of the most-polarizing performances in the history of singing competitions (even the ones in America) with his “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The good news for Jaz, though, is that his elimination does not mean the end for his collaborations with will.i.am. In a post on Twitter, the Black Eyed Peas frontman suggested strongly that he was going to keep the soul singer around for some future collaborations:
“This is just the beginning for our work together in the near future… Let’s take this to outer space :) #thevoiceUK”
It would ultimately be hardly a surprise if will.i.am did continue to work with one of his stars on the show — after all, Blake Shelton on the American version of the show has been extremely active promoting his own artists. He took his season 1 finalist Dia Frampton on tour, and a contestant from this season in Gwen Sebastian is now a member of his touring band.
Do you think Jaz may actually find some success after the show, or will he fall to the wayside like so many other singing-show contestants with big dreams?
