If you have listened to interviews featuring Gordon Ramsay over the years, then you will know that there is a certain affinity that the man has for soccer. After all, he once aspired to have a career in the sport before ultimately becoming one of the most famous chefs in all the world.
However, Gordon’s passion turned into his dismay over the weekend, when he suffered an injury during the annual Soccer Aid benefit in Britain. Following a collision with retired English great Terry Sheringham (which you can see below), Ramsay had to be cared away to the hospital. While there were questions about his condition, he posted on his Twitter account that he is doing just fine:
“Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine.”
There were a number of other celebrities who took part in the benefit, including Mike Myers as well as Will Ferrell.
Two of Ramsay’s most-popular American series in “MasterChef” and “Hell’s Kitchen” are each going to return to Fox next week with all-new episodes. Be sure to watch our first-look trailers over at this link.
