On second thought it is probably the bracelet that is seen covered in blood in one of the previews. I say this because promotions to Captain are significant enough that there would be an official ceremony of pinning on the Captain’s bars and presenting the badge. The preview shows the celebratory cake and just Castle and Beckett so it is probably a celebration just between the two of them with Castle giving Beckett something personal -the bracelet.

The box looks too small to hold a woman’s solid ring bracelet and getting them along with the cake acknowledging that she has been promoted to Captain would be appropriate. However, if you can tell me how you know that it is a bracelet I will certainly be glad to listen.
