Following an incredibly intense (not to mention deadly) season 1 finale for “Revenge” on Wednesday, the real question that is remaining now is just where exactly Emily will go from here. She no longer has Jack or Emily, and one of her chief rivals in Victoria may now actually be dead following what happened in the plane crash.
While Emily VanCamp is not a writer for the show by any means, her new comments about season 2 (per E! News) could at least give us some idea as to the sort of direction producers could be going in for when “Revenge” is sweet again in the fall:
“I would love to see more of the white-haired man. I think he is such an awesome villain for the show … I love the flashbacks. I like seeing where she went in that eight years that she was training and finding out more about her past and finding out how she became this Emily Thorne character.”
VanCamp does have a rather remarkable point here — for a main character that we have been following all seasons, there really is so much still that we do not know about the woman who arrived in the Hamptons last year with a very specific set of goals in mind.
Now that we know that Emily’s mother is potentially still alive, let’s hope this flashback hope becomes true in some shape or form.
Where do you want to see the series head for its second season?
