Given that Rachel’s parents are totally unaware that Rachel knows about Mike’s fraud, they WOULD turn Mike in out of protectiveness.

That could be the turning point. Jessica can hang Rachel’s affidavit over the Zanes’ heads, which would force Robert Zane to help fight for Mike’s freedom.

I think turning Mike in is Personal in its core, and harming the company is a welcomed side effect. Who could personally gain pleasure & BENEFIT from separating Rachel & Mike? I doubt any parent would take such a step when their child’s happiness is at stake. Trevor & Claire both have their own lives and have no reason to be angry with Mike and do harm. With all that said, I would suggest Logan Sanders did it. Or at least I wish he did it. I DO want him back in the series so badly :).
