As surprised as some people out there may be, ABC is at least going to consider one of the most controversial people in “Dancing with the Stars” history for their upcoming “All-Stars” season. Why? If you believe some of the rumors out there, it’s that the show could use a touch of drama to go along with some great dancing.
According to a HollywoodLife source, the show is keeping Kate Gosselin’s name around as a possibility for the fall season — even if she is not anywhere near the top of their list:
“They are going to ask Kate but hope they don’t have to use her as the cast and crew hated her … She would be a last resort.”
While Kate’s season produced some of the show’s best-ever ratings, it also caused many problems. The former TLC star clashed often with partner Tony Dovolani, who joked to Anderson Cooper later than he needed “therapy” after going through several weeks of the competition with her.
Despite this story, don’t expect to see Kate actually turn up on the show. She has really been out of the spotlight now for over six months, and we have a feeling producers are going to be more interested in putting back on the absolute best of the best.
Do you think that Kate really is going to be considered for a spot on this season?
