i agree with wht you said ,but i don't like the captain he would not fight the sub to save lives and then left them to die what a coward in a uniform just following orders. the change of command is there to make things work but most important is to cover every arse of rank the higher more cover. will the captain be prosecuted for leaving 10000 people to die.please right these wrong's or get rid of captin. P.S don't trust the new president!!!

That was a very good point made. But I think Chandler reacted in such a manner because he felt betrayed personally by Rachel. He trusted and expected her to live up to his moral standards, and she failed even though she did the world a huge favor getting rid of that monstrous man. Perhaps Chandler should put his personal feelings aside and see what she did for the justice it is. Or it could be that Chandler wanted a just revenge that was executed in a way he thinks is right i.e. put Neils on a public trial in front of the whole world, which results in capital punishment.

Hopefully next week's ep can fix some of the ridiculousness of this week's terrible episode. That guy Neils was a psychopathic terrorist that was responsible for the virus & didn't hesitate to go murdering innocent people & children for God's sake, with no remorse. Plus he gave coordinates to the nuts that nuked 9 cities. So Rachael killed the scum bag before he could do anymore harm & use his death to save lives. She had a very tough job trying to get him to give up the key to his work & actually had to work with that monster & put on an act and somehow now she's the bad guy. Captain is more than willing to to "pardon" a lowlife that killed a kid so that he can use the Brits own communications network to seek revenge and kill them, but that's not hyprocritical or anything. FYI Captain, it's the freakin' apocalypse, there are no authorities to hand her over too and if there were they'd be more likely to put on a medal on her than prosecute. Maybe if they would've spent less time conducting a formal witch hunt trying to demonize a woman responsible for not only saving their lives and some of their families, but potentially hundreds of millions more over the death of the guy responsible for the death of their loved ones they might have been able to prepare for a possible trap. There is no government or infrastructure besides that ship, yet the crewmembers still need to ask Daddy for permission to take a dump & wipe their own ass as well as be celibate (only aboard the ship that most of them never get off) it's not like they can port in some city and head straight to closest asian whorehouse for some R&R. In fact there is no R&R whatsoever. I like a lot about this show, Tex is by far not just the best character, but one of the few without his head up his ass or a messiah complex that gets off in front of an American flag humming the star spangled banner. And lastly, it's the apocalypse and almost everyone anyone knew or cared for is dead, do you really think anyone is going to give a crap about a President no one even voted for of a country that in essence is gone? If you're going to rebuild the world, why build an exact replica of a country that although great, was by no means was ever perfect. Why not try to build something better, something more that isn't defined by borders, politics and resources and gets people to unite rather than build up walls. If it weren't so looney & genocidal, Ramsey's basic premise and methods in uniting all people of the world while also connecting it by establishing a communications network. He's a Brit winning over the hearts & minds of Americans (even their "President") so it just goes to show the message is more powerful than the man. I only wish this show could be a bit more realistic & more about survival in a world where death is literally in the air and much less of US propanda/exceptionalism in a form of patriot-porn. I love my country, and it's one of the best, if not the best model the world has known so far, but it's still extremely flawed. It's either ignorance or narcissism to deny that fact. You can love your country and think for yourself at the same time. You don't have to be an uneducated drone susceptible to brainwashing. Besides, the American justice system is is one of the last things I'd want to replicate in a new world, the foundation and ideals sure, but above all I'd see the implementation of logic and for crimes to be judged not just on a categorical outcome, but by entire circumstance because to ignore it when someone's individual freedom is on the line is not only lazy, but unbecoming of an advanced and just-truly just society.
