We have a feeling that we are going to be playing the guessing game for quite some time when it comes to the upcoming All-Stars version of “Dancing with the Stars,” but there are already various “cast lists” hitting the internet just one day after the season finale.
According to Us Weekly, the following people are all being considered for spots on the new season — though have in no way accepted:
Melissa Rycroft – She’s a former “Bachelor” star, and someone producers could probably get back without too many problems.
Gilles Marini – Enormously popular the first time around, and he works mostly on ABC Family.
Britsol Palin – The show loves controversy…
Kyle Massey – They also love people who were a total blast to watch when they were in the ballroom the first time.
Chelsea Kane – We don’t really get the Chelsea rumor, especially since she and Bristol were both partnered with Mark Ballas.
Lance Bass – The same goes for Lance, as he and Kyle were with Lacey Schwimmer.
Kelly Osbourne – Please, producers — make this happen. Kelly and Louis van Amstel are ballroom magic.
Mario Lopez – See above. Mario and Karina Smirnoff may be one of the best pairs ever to come in second.
The only thing that is slightly troublesome about this list at the moment is that four out of the eight contestants here have ties to ABC and Disney away from “Dancing” — and we don’t want to see this turn into a season full of network self-promotion. Some other names that are being thrown around at the moment include Mel B, Kirstie Alley, and possibly even William Levy from this current season.
Do you have picks for the show yet?
