I definitely thought that was the pot calling the kettle black. I stopped watching Jay Leno because of his mean spirited “jokes”. Jay came after someone who could do jokes about the same person or situation but in a genuinely funny way without being mean, Johnny Carson, who showed that it could be done. It is the same way with stand-up comics who rely on the “F” word to get nervous laughs, it shows their lack of talent.
