‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ winner Arsenio Hall dips his feet into late-night

What's Arsenio up to?

It’s been a while since we have seen Arsenio Hall really enter the world of late-night television, but following his victory on “The Celebrity Apprentice” Sunday night he seems ready to make it happen for himself all over again.

Arsenio appeared in a new segment on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Tuesday night, and basically decided to do the exact same thing as the host himself. He and Leno traded barbs about how bad the economy is in California at the moment, and Arsenio made a joke that networks are actually considering “putting a black man on late-night” again.

As TMZ reported earlier in the week, there are at least three networks interested in developing a new show featuring Arsenio as a host — but for the time being, it’s unclear just what these networks are. It’s possible that TBS could be looking for a new show following “Conan,” or that The CW could even be trying to enter the space. Don’t count on a reunion with Fox, though — many local affiliates said no to a show with Conan O’Brien in 2010 thanks to the money that they make on syndicated shows.

Do you think Arsenio could find a new career for himself on late-night, and what networks do you think are the most likely candidates to sign him?
