With the latest news about Mark Harmon taking on a new project with CBS called Red Circle – I think the writing is on the wall for big chances for NCIS. I am a long time fan of NCIS from the start with JAG. I have enjoyed all 12 seasons and I will desperately miss NCIS when it ends.
If they plan to end Gibbs run on the show my only wish is that they don’t turn him in to a sour old man. Making enemies of all his team members. Gibbs has led this team as the father figure and suffered the ups and downs of his agents along with the ghost that haunt him from his life. Gibbs is a wise man after a little soul searching and recovery of his wounds Gibbs should accept and understand that the evils of the world will never be overcome. No matter how many you get another one will take his place.
Let the man find his soul mate (Carrie Clark would be good) When Carrie Clark is on the show there is always a twinkle in Gibbs and her eye when they have a scene together. After Jackson Gibbs died they had a scene together in “Alibi” where she said that she heard that his father could be as challenging as his son, and that she liked a challenge. I think that Carrie would let Gibbs be Gibbs in a relationship. Please let Gibbs get a little love before they send him off into the sunset. Let the fans see him happy in a few episodes. They could be very entertaining also.

In reply to Douglas Andrews. I watch NCIS since the JAG days ok. I'm fully aware of that but still in MY (=personal opinion) Tony was not convincing. In MY eyes he failed. People see things different. What makes yours better or more important than mine? I shared my own pov here. And telling me the story I have watched myself does not make me change my opinion.

In reply to LSilvaxx. Tony is Team leader material & has proven that. Director Shepard knew that as she offered him his own team in Rotta,Spain. He turned it down & went undercover & remained in Washington,DC. Director Vance is well aware of this also.

I want to Gibbs to be fine very soon. I just don’t see Tony or even McGee as team leaders. It’s Team Gibbs for a reason. I know some people want Tony to take the lead but that wouldn’t work for me, sorry.
