I think it’s very doubtful that Claire (or her boyfriend) would show up at the wedding to reveal the secret. She obviously cares for Rachel and sees a lot of herself in Rachel, in addition to the fact that she realizes that she easily could have been in the same situation.

Wonderful dream wedding unfolding for Mike and Rachel, then the dreaded question comes up, “does anyone here present, know of any reason why these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peice.” Claire or her boyfriend stands up and tells the secret, but the professor at Harvard, who owes Harvey a favour has been placed in the congregation by Harvey on purpose. He stands up and quashes the accusation. It’s over they’ve made it through, then the wedding continues, but Mike can’t commit to Rachel, because he knows the truth and he stops the wedding.
