Depends what they do with it. If it puts Fillion and Katic working together on-screen as much or more than in previous seasons then it will be good. If not, then it will be bad. If it allows Beckett and Castle to delve into the dirty world of politics and prosecution behind the crimes, a la The Good Wife. That’s good. If Beckett continues to be a hands on leader with her detectives in the field like Major Crimes. That’s good, too. I see lots of positive possibilities.

If the showrunners want to make Castle more of an ensemble to free up more time for Katic and Fillion, I get it, but it will be tricky. Better have some spectacular COTWs.
