The atmosphere of this arc feels more epic and “grown-up” in tone than previous OUAT storylines – hopefully it will live up to the hype. Plus, it’s delving into a unique mythos for the show instead of simply rehashing Disney concepts. Granted, Merida will be showing up, but given that she’s more of an underdog in terms of popularity than Elsa, I don’t consider her inclusion to be an inherently bad idea. Time will tell. If this season is anything like the last season’s finale, then it should be pretty impressive.
