Easy to fit in Borin. Write a story where she gets in trouble at CGIS and has to resign, then Gibbs takes her on, with a demotion. Done. THe lack of imagination makes me laugh. :) Besides, lots of people have had demotions on NCIS (all women, funny enough). Kate was elite SS with Yankee White clearance, so that was a step down. Ziva was a control officer at Mossad, and she took a step down as well. And Bishop got the biggest demotion of all. NSA analysts start at GS 11 and go up from there. As a supposedly GREAT analyst she would be GS 13 at LEAST. NCIS probationary agents start at GS 6 or so. That’s a 50% pay cut. And we were never given any explanation why she wanted to destroy her very successful NSA career, where everyone listened to her, to become an incompetent NCIS probie who worships GIbbs. I think it’s veyr interesting that people accept the Bishop demotion with no question whatsoever, but insist that Borin cannot take one step down for any reason.

Thanks for your response…and i’m not going to say you’re lying I wouldn’t have had a problem with Diane Neal except that as head investigator for CGIS she was Gibbs equal and that may have been looked at as a step back for Borin to join the team as for your other choices no problem with any of them and I guess we will never really know…but as much as you dislike Bishop there would have been fans that would have disliked anyone who wasn’t named Ziva. They took a chance with Emily Wickersham and I have no problem with Bishop much to your dismay I don’t think she will be going anywhere. Thanks Again Take Care.

I have answered this many times, and every time I do, the person who asks says I’m lying. I can’t do anything about that. I’m telling the truth.
My first choice was Diane Neal. I also enjoyed several of the women guest stars in season 11, such as Margo Harshman, Kellie Williams, and Laura Seay. The Admiral’s Daughter was a terrific actress and had great chemistry with Tony. Those are some specific actresses. In general terms, however, I think they went totally the wrong way with casting an intel analyst. The team already has enough geeks, and they need someone physical.
My PREFERENCE, if we couldn’t have Diane Neal, would have been to go totally different. Hire a female Gulf War veteran, preferably someone of color. The show has become far too white bread after the deaths and departures of the last few years, and Bishop didn’t improve that in the least.

ok I will ask this again…you are the person choosing a new actor for the role of the new NCIS team member (since you hate Bishop) but it’s not Ziva what actor/actress would you choose. And I ask this because no matter who you choose someone will hate the choice because it’s not Ziva. The powers that be made their choice so I guess you won’t be watching season 13 your loss.
