Following what was one of the tensest episodes of “The Voice” UK all season, we finally turned to a results show with many questions — including whether or not will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue had come to blows following some harsh critique of Max Milner and David Julien.
Without any further delay, let’s get to the results!
Team Jessie J
Britain’s choice – Vince Kidd. We have to say that we are absolutely thrilled for Vince. It’s not often that you see someone who is as creative as he is appear on the show like this, and be able to entertain in a way that makes you believe that he could be a genuine pop star.
Jessie’s choice – For Jessie, there was a tough choice here. Do you take someone in Cassius Henry who has been consistent, a wild card in Becki Hill, or the underdog in Toni Warne? Despite her accidentally swearing in the middle of “Seven Nation Army,” Becky was her choice to advance.
Britain’s choice – Bo Bruce. Another smart choice. While Danny’s team is far from the strongest in the competition, she is the lone standout — a vocalist with reckless abandon, a phenomenal voice, and some real artistry.
Danny’s choice – For Danny, he had to select between some singers who were really rather similar to each other in Max Milner, Aleks Josh, and David Julien. Was his choice a surprise? Only if you go by the voting. Despite this being his second time in jeopardy, Danny picked someone in Max who has shown the most creativity, and has the best shot at being a recording artist once we forget about most everyone else this season.
What do you think about the artists who advanced to the semifinal?
