Fat chance of that happening. We thought he was going to have a great year in season 12, and he ended up doing less than ever. There’s no reason to think that will change.

I love to see Weatherly do drama and he didn’t get any last year. Gibbs and McGee were the only ones who were cast in danger or had any personal drama last season. Tony didn’t do much of anything or figure in significantly in solving the cases either. I hope they don’t portray him as a vain incompetent disrespected temporary leader. I’m tired of seeing my favorite decimated as the evening’s joke or to make other characters look smarter.
