“Sons of Anarchy” season 5 may still be months away from premiering, but that is not stopping us from finding out some more about the characters set to play a major role in what happens next.
In new that was first reported by TVLine, actor Harold Perrineau (Michael on “Lost”) has been cast to play the role of Damon Pope — a former drug lord who is going to be facing some tragedy at the start of the year over what happened to his daughter during the season 4 finale.
Perrineau’s casting is the second major addition to Kurt Sutter’s hit FX drama this season, as “Dexter” alum Jimmy Smits has already signed on for the season-long role of Latino gangster Naron Padilla.
There is no official launch date for “SOA” season 5 just yet, but stay tuned — we will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
What do you think think about Perrineau’s casting?
